Hello Olympics

Okay, I deleted the first draft, so here we go again.

Hello everyone! No, i did not go to the moon and back! It has been a long time, I know. Where have I been? Well, school let out for the summer, and I was wiped out. Plus, I was super busy!

1. I ran in my first 5K in June with Girls On The Run. It was fun, and I enjoyed it. I enjoyed it so much, that I still run about 3-5 miles a week! It feels good, an I think I have lost some weight. I don't own a scale, so, I go by how my clothes fit. They are looser, and fit nicer too! Yeah, me!

2. I went to Maryland again this summer. My father-in-law is terrific. He always let's us stay with him. Of course, I had to enhance the stash! I went to Looped Yarnworks in DuPont Circle, D.C., and The Neddle Lady in Charlottesville, VA. I love yarn!

3. I will be knitting again for the Ravellenic Games (previously known as the Ravelimpics). I am on Team Mocha Knits, and I will be working on WIP's. This includes this cute green sweater for my son, and the Rocky Coast Cardi for myself.

4. Finally, the Will County Fair is coming up, and I am determined to win first place. I will enter five projects: my EPS Sweater, my February Lady Vest, my Greenfield Cardi, my Car Mitts, and my Piper's Journey Shawl. Here they are:

Do you think any of theses are winners? I will keep you posted.

By the way, I got myself an iPad for my birthday! I love this thing. I am using it to do this post (that I hope not to delete this time). I am using an app called Blogsy, and it is great! Okay, new iPad, new app= more posts. Really, I will try. I have better tools now! Thanks for reading and love ya!
